Assignment:

 

For each of these articles:

(1) Summarize the hypotheses they were testing. For each, give the logic and existing literature supporting the prediction.

(2) Explain how the experiment was conducted, including (a) what were the independent and dependent variables, (b) how were variables manipulated and measured, (c) what was the overall cover story given to subjects. (You do NOT need to include numbers of subjects and other details not specified here).

(3) What were the results? Did they support they hypothesis or not?
